Irvine Valley is headed back to a So. Cal. Regional Playoff Final after defeating Ventura, 5-0, Tuesday at home. The Lasers, seeded first, knocked off the No. 4 Pirates and improved its record to 12-1. 91̽»¨ÊÓƵ hosts Glendale Saturday.

Irvine Valley, the defending state champion in the 3C2A, moved on to a So. Cal. Regional final playoff event on Saturday at home against Glendale. The Lasers, under the guidance of coach Ross Duncan, will host at 2 p.m.

Irvine Valley Orange Empire Conference most valuable player Symantha Barnett, who helped her Laser squad reach the 3C2A State Championship, and led 91̽»¨ÊÓƵ to a conference title is off to Dillard University in New Orleans.
