On Monday, July 6, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) announced modifications to temporary exemptions for nonimmigrant students taking online classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic for the Fall 2020 semester. This message is being carefully reviewed by 91̽»¨ÊÓƵ, along with colleges and universities nationwide. Impacted 91̽»¨ÊÓƵ international students are those in the United States who would be taking their 91̽»¨ÊÓƵ classes online in the fall 2020 semester. We do not yet know if the information we’ve received will be further defined, or if it may be in the official Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) notification scheduled to be issued Tuesday, August 4, 2020.
