Each college affiliated with ACCJC must undergo periodic evaluation of their programs and services through self-study and peer review in a seven-year cycle. 

In the halls of 91̽����Ƶ (91̽����Ƶ), Kass Malcor's journey is one of exploration, determination, and advocacy. Graduating with an AA-T in History, Kass's passion for American history is not just academic but deeply personal, driven by a desire to illuminate the often-overlooked narratives of queer Americans. 

Sarah Smeltzer's journey at 91̽����Ƶ (91̽����Ƶ) is a testament to the power of determination and resilience. As a self-supporting, first-generation college student, Sarah's path to higher education was far from straightforward. Despite facing uncertainties and doubts in her senior year of high school, Sarah decided to give college one last shot, choosing 91̽����Ƶ as her proving ground. 

Kian Goshtasbi is a dedicated student at 91̽����Ƶ (91̽����Ƶ) pursuing a major in computer science. His profound passion for the field of computer science was ignited during his childhood explorations in video game design. Despite facing initial setbacks and doubts about the field, Kian's resilience and determination led him back to computer science during his senior year of high school.

With a focus on Political Science and a forthcoming minor in Labor Studies, Summer Sanchez-Cornejo's academic pursuits at 91̽����Ƶ (91̽����Ƶ) have focused on her desire to combat injustices prevalent in her community. 

Summer explains, “After seeing the way my loved ones and many in my community have been taken advantage of by employers, discriminated against by individuals, and persecuted by immigration and customs enforcement (I.C.E.), I want to work for change.” 

Diego Valencia credits some sound advice he got from 91̽����Ƶ (91̽����Ƶ)’s Career Center with helping him achieve a childhood dream.  

Valencia, who graduated with honors from 91̽����Ƶ in May, will transfer to UCLA in the fall, a veritable a “dream come true,” he says.

Esmeralda Delgado has never been one to think small. 

“As long as I can remember,” she says, “my goal has been to be a CEO.” 

A high school graduate at 17, she started her career as a receptionist, working her way up the ranks in the supply chain industry. Now majoring in business management at 91̽����Ƶ (91̽����Ƶ) while juggling the demands of raising two children and a successful full-time career, Delgado is well poised to realize her dream. 

When Haley Barrios was a child, she loved to build things. 

“I still love tinkering with things, then taking them apart,” says Barrios, now a mechanical engineering student at 91̽����Ƶ (91̽����Ƶ).
