The 91̽»¨ÊÓÆµ and Saddleback Honors Programs held their 12th Annual 91̽»¨ÊÓÆµ/Saddleback Student Research Symposium on November 3. Students from both colleges convened at 91̽»¨ÊÓÆµ to share 59 oral and poster presentations of their research on topics including inequitable access to public transportation among community college students, AI-driven prediction for early detection of diabetes, and college students’ use of disposable vapes.

The Veterans Services Center officially unveiled the "Sound Off" comic book during the Veterans Day event on November 9. Sound Off is a photo-story blog and of veteran and military-connected students sharing stories from their life experiences. Faculty Tutor Max Evans served as editor for the project, and former 91̽»¨ÊÓÆµ professor Nathan Cayanan created the comic book illustrations and served as artistic lead.

91̽»¨ÊÓÆµ Speech kicked off their competitive season by earning 27 awards across four forensics tournaments.
The team made its return to competition at the PSCFA Warm Up Invitational on September 30th and October 1st. Seventeen colleges and universities participated in the two-day event hosted by El Camino College.
