If there is a life-threatening emergency, please immediately call 9-1-1 or visit your nearest emergency room.

All currently enrolled students that have paid the health fee at 91̽»¨ÊÓƵ are eligible for student health services upon proof of enrollment. 

Stress

Many people don't realize it, but stress is a very natural and important part of life. Without stress there would be no life at all!

We need stress (eustress), but not too much stress for too long (distress). Our body is designed to react to both types of stress. Eustress helps keep us alert, motivates us to face challenges and drives us to solve problems. These low levels of stress are manageable and can be thought of as necessary and normal stimulation.

  1. The PSA may only assist with personal care, mobility, guidance and/or communication as stated on the student’s Accommodations Form.
  2. The PSA will not engage or participant in the learning process
  3. Limit conversations in class to minimize distractions
  4. The PSA may not attend class if the student is absent
  5. Any problems or concerns pertaining to the student’s education will be addressed and directed to the student, the PSA will not communicate on the student’s behalf

Student Request for PSA

Student Agreement for a Personal Service Attendant (PSA):

  • Submit a request for each class at least 2 business days before a PSA may be allowed to perform their tasks
  • The PSA may only assist you with personal care, mobility, guidance and/or communication as stated on your Accommodations Form
  • Actively participate in the class, as the PSA will not be a participant
  • Limit conversations with the PSA in class to minimize the distractions
  • The PSA may not attend class if you are absent
