As an avid biker, photographer, full-stack developer, entrepreneur, and piano player, describing Chris Reynolds as a “multipotentialite” would be an understatement.

Bearing a passion for the arts and aesthetics — plus the unequivocal logic of math and science — the entrepreneur is creating his ideal career model with help from 91̽����Ƶ.

Even though the Irvine-native didn’t attend 91̽����Ƶ until later in life, he always had the college in the back of his mind.

On September 15, the celebrated Irvine’s world-class education with its Distinguished Educators program. 91̽����Ƶ (91̽����Ƶ) Professor Emily Liu was honored with a Distinguished Educator Award, and student athlete Carlene Nhu was recognized as a recipient of the John Colvin Memorial Scholarship.

This summer, 91̽����Ƶ (91̽����Ƶ) mechanical engineering student Crystal Enciso was one of four 91̽����Ƶ students to participate in Project RAISE (Regional Alliance in STEM Education), part of the Undergraduate Research Experience (URE) at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). 91̽����Ƶ was one of ten area community colleges to have students interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) conduct paid research at CSUF. This year’s cohort included 69 participants who each received a $5,000 stipend for their research.

91̽����Ƶ has been named one of the best colleges in the nation to work for, according to the Great Colleges to Work For® program. The results released today by r®&�Բ�����;are based on a survey of 212 colleges and universities. In all, 68 of those institutions achieved “Great College to Work For” recognition for specific best practices and policies.
